How to deal with the malfunction of CNC lathe chip conveyor
As a commonly used machine tool accessory product, the CNC lathe chip conveyor is mainly used to remove chips. If the accumulated iron filings during equipment use are not dealt with in a timely manner, a large amount of accumulation can easily cause the equipment to jam or even trip. If this situation persists for a long time, it will increase unnecessary burden on the equipment and have a significant impact on its service life. So what should we do when the device suddenly freezes or even trips? Firstly, it is important to understand that the factors affecting chip removal are the rotational speed and the spacing between the scraper blades. In daily use, the operating frequency of the chip conveyor is very high. If a CNC lathe trips actively, it is mostly caused by a short circuit. Firstly, observe whether the external power supply meets the requirements of the machine tool, whether it exceeds the tolerance, and whether it is relatively stable. Secondly, observe whether the power switch of the lathe is damaged. If there is any damage, please replace it promptly. Then, check if the lathe is equipped with external devices such as conveyor belts, fire extinguishers, work lights, etc., Whether it's the wrong connection or other reasons.
If the above three reasons are not found through inspection, then the wiring problem of the lathe should be considered. Generally speaking, most CNC lathes have many induction lines, so it is necessary to check whether the induction lines have been cut off. To effectively reduce the failure rate of equipment during use, the following requirements should be noted in the specific operation process:
1、 Before powering on the CNC lathe, first check whether the lubricating oil balance of the reducer is below the standard oil level line. If it is below the standard oil level line, add the corresponding total loss system oil to the marked oil level line.
2、 After starting the engine, check whether the rotation direction of the sprocket is consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the machine label. If it is not consistent, correct it immediately.
3、 The sprocket of the CNC lathe chip removal device is equipped with an overload safety clutch, and the chip removal machine has been adjusted during factory debugging.
4、 After starting, if the friction plate of the CNC lathe is found to be slipping, the machine should be stopped immediately to check if there are any foreign objects stuck on the chain belt or other reasons.
5、 Regularly check whether the clamping force of the friction plate of the chip conveyor meets the requirements, and whether the compression amount of the disc spring is within the specified range.
